MCC to Feature Newest Citizen Lathes & Miyano Turning Centers at IMTS 2010
Allendale, NJ (June 25, 2010) — Marubeni Citizen-Cincom, Inc. (MCC) will display nine machines at IMTS 2010, Booth S-9419 including four of their newest models: L20E, K16E, BNA-42S and BNX-42SY.
The popular Cincom L20 and K16 Swiss type lathes have been acclaimed by customers around the world for their combination of cost, function and ease-of-use. Now the enhanced "E" models ("E" stands for evolution) boast greater feature/cost benefits and improved tooling flexibility.
The Cincom L20E offers a wide variety of re-designed L20 tooling as well as a rich array of NC functions. Citizen's unique control system enables smooth motion at high speeds and the increased rapid feed rate of 32 m/min successfully improves productivity.
The efficient Cincom K16E offers faster rapid feed rates, improved axis deceleration/acceleration times of the axes, and faster program processing provided by the new control system.
The new Miyano BNA-34/42S provides the same efficiency as the BND series in the footprint and price range of the BNC series. Half indexing turret provides greater tooling capability as well as tool change speed. This, as well as new control technology, reduces idle time by 27% and cycle time by 13% when compared to BND models.
The Miyano BNX-42SY is a multifunction single turret turning center based on the BNJ twin turret machine. Citizen’s superimposed and synchronization technology makes this single turret machine behave like a twin turret. Citizen technology has also been implemented to reduce idle time by 42% and cycle time by 31% as compared to the BND-42S5.
