JOB TITLE: CNC Applications Technician
LOCATION: Fountain Valley, California

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the part programming of CNC machines, process development, and customer training in a manufacturing environment
  • Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, machine assessment and recommendations, and part processing recommendations
  • Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Interpreting part prints, plans and specifications
  • Create time studies and perform first part run off
  • Programming, setup and training of Citizen and Miyano CNC lathes and CNC vertical or horizontal mills. Setting up CNC programming per customer specifications
  • Provide customer support via phone and travel to customer sites
  • Align and interface bar feed unit
  • Travel required in the US


  • 5+ years experience with CNC machines; Swiss screw machines experience for CNC lathe preferred
  • Citizen & Miyano experience helpful
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
  • Excellent and effective communications skills required

JOB TITLE: Automation Specialist – CNC
LOCATION: Agawam, Massachusetts

SUMMARY: Candidates must possess knowledge of CNC machines; Citizen and Miyano machines and accessories experience is helpful, but not required. Primary responsibility is new designs for Cool Blaster and other accessories for Cincom/Miyano.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design control systems based on mechanical design and intent
  • Troubleshoot electrical control systems through phone support
  • Ability to understand CNC controls and integrate external systems
  • Able to understand pneumatics and hydraulics and know how to control them
  • Troubleshoot robot, automation, electrical systems and controls issues
  • Reprogram equipment for engineering changes and improvements
  • Update program backups for automation
  • Program new installations of automation, material handling, and robots
  • Must be able to layout and design electrical controls to NFPA safety standards.
  • Review risk assessments as part of a team evaluating equipment safety.
  • Working with PLC logic and controls
  • Edit and maintain electrical schematics and drawings for existing product using CAD drawing software
  • Knowledge of typical alarms and how to remedy
  • Must be able to set up and design control panels for automation

  • Robotics is a plus
  • Knowledge of Servo Control, Hydraulics Systems and Mechanical design

JOB TITLE: Junior Sales Engineer - CNC Machines
LOCATION: Offices located in New Jersey, California, Illinois and Massachusetts

SUMMARY: This position is a junior trainee position. Seeking candidates with technical knowledge that would like to move into sales position. No commissions at junior level. CNC MACHINE TOOL and TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE A MUST. Travel is required. Marubeni offers an excellent benefits package.

  • Train with in-house experienced salespeople to develop sales skills and tools
