We are seeking a motivated Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer. This is a 35-hour workweek position with additional hours as needed.

Design and develop custom automation and machine accessory solutions from concept through implementation, including mechanical components, assemblies, documentation, and bill of materials.
Specify and source components, collaborate with controls, assembly, and fabrication teams, review peer designs, and support machine build, testing, and commissioning activities.
Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including customer-facing design discussions, installation support, troubleshooting, training, and post-implementation assistance, with occasional travel.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the CNC industry or machine tool design space.
Leadership and training experience preferred.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support equipment commissioning, startup, customer acceptance testing, and continuous improvement initiatives, while providing ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for electrical and automation systems both remotely and at customer sites.
